Smile 16 " wheels, tires and beauty rings.

Hi all, I am in the process of restoring some 16" wire wheels and want to buy some 600x16 tires black wall and also some 16" steel beauty wheel rings to suit this set up. Any suggestions where I can best buy these from at a good price? I am looking to dressing up my stock coupe as a nice touring car. Your help would be appreciated, thanks guys. John Spragg, Australia.

I put the beauty rings on my 16 inch Kelsey's and then decided I didn't like them with the rings. Proceed slowly.

I put them on my Cabriolet and just love them. Numerous compliments at every car show. I am sure you won't regret it. The S/S rings are very expensive. Wayne

My 21 inch stainless steel rings thru Macs were $95 each and l needed six. With shipping they were over $600 dollars. I am sure there are inferior quality rings cheaper but I believe you get what you pay for !

Hey John,
Maybe you already know, but in case not, there are several types of 16" beauty rings available. Main difference is the number if 'rings' that are in the design ,i.e.- plain, 2 rings and three rings. A number of sources sell these rings. They are not that expensive for 16" wheels. As said, go slowly so as to not waste $. Wow, you will most likely have huge shipping charge,eh ?
Also, as said Coker has black and white wall tires. I have some of their wide whitewalls and they are made in an 'old style' mold of the thirties and they also come in steel belt..which I have and like. I'm kinda worn out on the whitewalls, and have a set of rings in the rafters. So, be sure what you want and will be happy with. Good luck !
