Re: Difference between Tudor and Deluxe Tudor
According to the June 9, 1931 Factory Letter to All Dealers, the De-luxe Tudor was added because of demand to the line up. Feature included the following: Cowl Lamps, Dome Light, Mohair Upholstery, Toggle Grips, Side Arm Rests in rear seats, Mahogany grain garnish strips, Floor carpet, five spoke wheels in color to match pinstripe.

About $25.00 FOB - lol
Actually many small but very nice touches as noted before. You got a lot of value for the deluxe money……. We have a ‘ 30 Deluxe Coupe. |

Re: Difference between Tudor and Deluxe Tudor
There is more to the deluxe Tudor than those niceties. You can add all those things and enjoy the look and feel but if you are to judge your car there are some differences.
The floor pans are dropped and the front seats are wider and more comfortable like a Victoria. Richard Anaheim CA |

Re: Difference between Tudor and Deluxe Tudor
I'm not sure about the floor but the driver's seat was on tracks for adjustment and the passenger seat could be adjusted for rake with the rear legs being adjustable up & down to a degree. The seats were very much like the Victoria and Convertible Sedan if not the same. The lowered rear floor pans for the Victoria and A400 are available but I haven't seen any specifically for the Deluxe Tudor. I'm not saying they weren't dropped but I just can't find the information that indicates that.

The 55A and 55B Tudors all used a wood floorboard (A-55149) in the rear that sat flat with the sills. I don't think Bob was suggesting this however just so we are all clear, even the "dropped" Rear Pan Assembly between the 190A (A-192704) and the 400A (A-400204) were different. |

Re: Difference between Tudor and Deluxe Tudor
Let's be clear. The floor is the same in the standard tudor and the deluxe tudor. Both use the same plywood center floorboard and rear floorboard, which is level with the sills. It is not dropped.
