How to remove a 41 radio? Help
Hi. I am wanting to install a new dash trim piece on my 41 deluxe coupe. I need to drop the radio down to get to the screws that hold the old piece on. I have removed the two bolts under the dash holding the radio in place .. but it seems to be connected to the antenna. I haven't removed one before . How is his done ? Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: How to remove a 41 radio? Help
The radio is attached to the top of the dash by special double-ended mounting nut that also serves as the antenna connection. Unscrew the plastic antenna hold down nut, disconnect the antenna, and then unscrew the mounting nut from the radio. This is best done with a second pair of hands to hold the radio and keep it from falling.
