I used to work at a small engine shop and would go home after work and shower and then go see her and I would get yelled at... "you smell good when ur hands are all greasy". Gotta love her.

Re: My girlfriend drove the model a today >.<
Thats funny all it took in mine was one ride, my new Lady friends 08 fusion lost its brakes last week so i showed up in my truck to pick her up. Untill this she wouldent get in it opting to take hers. While AAA droped her car off at my house me and her headed off in the A to get parts for her car. she loved it that night shes asking me to teach her how to drive it and already trying to make spring plans for drives up the coast her one stipulation is she gets to drive atleast one way. IM getting Scared lol

Mike, when you get a body on the "A" you might never see the car or the girlfriend again!

Re: My girlfriend drove the model a today >.<
You are one lucky man there Mike, a great looking girl who is interested in your hobby. My wife and I have done over 76000 miles in our Model A and my wifes only complaint is that she does not drive the Model A as often as she likes to do. It's always a fight to see who gets behind the steering wheel first. Unlike ourselves you are both young and I'm sure that you have many years of happy Model A touring ahead of you. I have seen many vintage car enthusiasts fall away from the hobby because it was a one sided affair with the wife or partner complaining about too much money and or time being spent on the hobby. So, enjoy it together and live every day as though it was your last. May you have many happy miles together.

What Body do you have for this chassis, or did you already mention it and I forgot or failed to see it ? I'm also lucky in that my wife loves to go Cruisin' with me in "Miss Tillie". |

So, I guess you don't have to register at the Department Store before getting married, just have everybody contribute to bids on a Phaeton on ePay.

And how to use the starter and overdrive to drive a car out of a stream bed when the engine quits... And how to shift when the synchros on a modern tranny go out far from home...
