Default My NEW Avatar

I would like to call your attention to my NEW Avatar.
It shows of course my '30 Fordor DeLuxe "Blindback" next to an F15A which is now on static display AND Most IMPORTANLY OUR American Flag in the background. This F15 was one of the first two that were launched from our base during the disaster of 9/11. Prior to my retirement I had worked on this aircraft several times. Hope you enjoy!

Fullraceflathead - Thank You!

The nice thing about the picture is my son, who took it, would always take pictures like this on a 45 degree angle which I never liked. This time he turned the camera 90 degrees and this is the result.

Can't see a "big picture", but doesn't that little sign in the background say "keep off the grass"

burner31 - I feel you are joking BUT if not then re-reading post #1 will tell you what the "sign" is all about! I thought Mercman from OZ did a terrific job enlarging the picture for ALL to see!

john in illinois - Thanks for your kind remarks!

Yes, it was a joke...made you look...
Humor is the only thing that keeps me sane in this crazy World.

It's like when I tell people I still have the original black and white rearview mirror in my car

Note: Don't know why, but the big picture won't pull up for me...no joke

The plane made me think of this story: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/septemb...ilots-mission/ The pilots were prepared to ram the airliner.
