How well does a forty dash fit in a 39.

39 round gauge clusters, 40 has a retanguler one piece clust--suppose you could cut out 39 dash to fit 40 cluster

The instrument panel fits perfectly ('40 closed car to '39 closed car) - no modification to body or panel required.
Defroster outlets won't align correctly.
Not certain what you'd do about the windshield opening mechanism...
