Default Engine stamps

How much is a full set of model a engine stamps worth? Was told that they are original? How hard are they to find? Thanks for your help in advance

I’ve only seen numbers “as original” not old stock or nos but sure they’re out there. I have a set and the numbers look pretty much the same as original with “A” and star
Seen them for approaching $200
Do a search here on Model A For Sale “engine stamps”

I think I paid around $150.00 for mine. I just did a search as a friend yesterday said someone borrowed his "star" stamp and didn't bring it back. I ordered one today online and it was $52.00 with shipping for just the one.

They are advertised in the "Swap Meet" quite often.

I’d br looking at Hershey, Carlisle or another big swap meet instead of buying retail!

Actually, many clubs buy them for communal use. How often does one person need them?..

Even engine rebuilders don't use them that often. The only use for them is when you are trying to match the number on the title.

With these new engine blocks it will become the new normal though.
