Default Stromberg 48 or 97 ????

How do you tell the difference between a Stomberg 48 and 97 carburetor? I just post for sale what I believe is a 97, can you tell by the pics?

The base and the main body are 48 not the typical "South Bend" But the "Elmira" The casting number for the top is located inside the float bowl it could either be the Model 40 P-19402 or the 48 P-20692 top.
Corrected below by nick the bandit. The main body is 97.

The numbers on the passenger side of the bowl identify the carburetor. 31/32 is a Stromberg 97, 1 1/32 is either a model 40, or a model 48 Stromberg carburetor. What identifying numbers are on the drivers side of the carburetor? If there are no numbers, but just the raised circle, then the carburetor was an over-the counter replacement carburetor.

The top does not have the detent ball boss to hold the choke open. The choke lever does not have the hole for the detent. The top is not a 97 top and the base is not either unless someone went to the trouble of pulling the shaft and changing the choke linksge.
It is a made up carb from parts.
