Default Lug nut sizes

I have the a couple original lug nut bars and a couple new lug nut bars. Neither fit my 28 roadster lug nuts. I am thinking the original lug nuts were bigger than the ones on my model A.

Could you measure across the flats of your lug nuts and report back?

Early 28's were smaller.Without going out and looking I think they were 11/16.They do use a different crank/wrench than the later ones.I have one in my early 28.

I hear there are some bad repo lug nuts out there. Apparently the chamber angle is a wrong match for the wheel holes??

Thanks Keith. I have 4 wrenches and they are all too big. I will try and sell
them. Two of them are new and two of them are older originals.
