Default 1937 pickup exhaust

I have a few questions for those of you who have done this before. I am about to fabricate a dual exhaust starting with Red's headers, and plan to use stainless pipe. What size pipe would you use? 1 3/4" or 2" or 2 1/4"? What mufflers would you use, Porters, Brockmans, Smithy's, or Stainless Specialties? I only want to do this once.

I did mine with 1 3/4" tubes and 24" glasspacks. I like the sound, deep without the rumble. Of course it's a personal thing. Listen to a few andays see what you think.
