On most of the farms that I lived on, there was these 'ramps' made out of stone/rocks/dirt/wood, that they just drove the cars/tractors up on to do the lube/repair work. Sometimes they dug a walkway underneath so a guy could stand up straight, rather than bent over/crawling around. Never even saw something that 'modern' then !
