Tube shocks on mech brake 38?

Posted this on the other site also: Any way to put tube shocks on my 38 sedan with mechanical brakes? Just finished repairing the whole mechanical system with the help of FlatheadTed, and they are now working quite well.
The car does porpoise quite a bit with any kind of road deviation, even tho the stock shocks were rebuilt during the restoration by the previous owner.
