Default Another loss

Yesterday I read the obits in the last V8 times and saw a few friends. Today I was informed that Kermit Cross, Kerk on here, passed away. Kermit was one of the founding members of RG5 with Lee Abernathy? founder of Lebarron Bonney.
Kermit was a wealth of knowledge and attended many national meets. I believe he had a passion for 35s but it was a 32 he drove cross country with Charlie Gunn in 2005, or close to that.

Frank, thanks for the info. Kermit was a great guy and a dedicated V-8er.

One of the good guys, a friend, and a real loss to the hobby. May he rest in peace.

I remember Kermit. Our paths crossed multiple times. He was a member of my 'road family.' He rode shotgun with me on a tour in 2014. I also spent time with him at Fitchburg. He was a fine gentleman who educated a punk like me. I recall the conversation or dispute about the value of a 1935 steering wheel during our last encounter at his booth at Hershey. Our hobby is lesser for his passing and I will miss the big guy.

He was a good guy and friend. We swapped a lot of '35 Ford parts back and forth. Always stopped by his spaces at Hershey, Pa and Fitchburg, Mass to chat. Rest in peace Kermit.

Rest in peace Kermit! I have crossed paths with Kermit at National Meets. Loved his '32 painted Washington Blue!

Always enjoyed speaking to Kermit.
Fixed up a bunch of locks for him over the years.
It was a pleasure visiting with him at Hershey.
RIP Kermit

I always made a point of stopping at his Hershey spot to chat. A great guy always willing to dispense wisdom based on his many years of driving his 32 Tudor. He will be missed.

This is sad news. I spoke with him a week or two ago. He purchased one of my pedal plates for his pickup. I never met him, but just speaking with him on the phone I could tell he was someone I would’ve liked to have met. RIP Kermit.
