Zenith carb
I have the threads in the bottom of zenith carburetor stripped. Not the one that goes all the way through to bolt together, the other one. What is the answer to get that to seal up? It is not a standard bolt as it has a hole in it. Is there a value in that hole? Can I use a longer bolt, without the hole??

Re: Zenith carb
Might be difficult to fix bad threads in the casting. I have unmatched bottom castings, and the parts houses were selling replacements.

Re: Zenith carb
If casting threads are very bad then Tom Endy's is the best solution ( other than a new casting!). Often the threads on the brass drain are very worn yet the casting threads not too bad in which case a new brass drain will solve the problem. Sometimes if casting threads are worn grinding the casting down a little will get a new brass drain onto decent threads to get grip.

Thank you much. I also updated my profile, to contact me. Don't you need to get rid of any of those Zenith 1 carbs?
