Default ‘51 motor mount plate logo?

I was cleaning the plate that goes inside the front cross member that the motor mount studs go thru. It about 2 1/2” x 4” with two holes in it. I noticed this logo and was curious if anybody knew what the origin might be? It’s kind of an insignificant part, out of sight. It could easily have been a couple of thick washers.......Mark

You might be right!....the mounts may have been replaced with a Federal Mogul part and the plate came with it. Makes sense. Like I said I didn’t understand why, what I thought was a fairly insignificant part was marked but if it came with the mount they both could be.
Thanks..... Mark
