Are the door lock cylinders replaceable on my 50 Ford car without replacing the whole mechanism? Thanks

It is possible, but why bother? The assemblies (separate from the latch mechanism) are available (either side) as NOS or very good used, and are even being reproduced. I have many in stock if you are interested. I can re-pin to match your existing locks/keys.

If you are asking if the lock cylinder mechanism is separate from the latch mechanism the answer is yes. You only need to replace the lock mechanism if that is what is broken.
