Default Rubber windshield gasket

I have a 1930 Tudor and I noticed when I had the windshield opened out the rubber seal was hanging down in the middle. I tried to expand it out but it didn't want to move and I didn't want to force it. Is it supposed to be glued up in a track? I didn't feel or see any old glue on the rubber seal. It seems like it should be an easy fix. I'm on the east coast and I am seriously getting spring fever. Can't wait till spring. Thanks for any help.

the track that you are talking about is a retainer. it is supposed to hold the seal in place by pinching the seal. as long as the retainer is in good shape. remove the windshield frame in all, lay it face down on a flat surface. push the seal in place and close the retainer.

Thanks for the come back. I wasn't sure if I could get it back in without removing the whole windshield. I'll try it tomorrow.
