Default Annoying ads

Every time I open a thread here this morning, I get an advertisement across the bottom of the screen. Does anybody have any idea why that has just started or has FB allowed advertisements from outside organisations.
Computers are black magic to me so I don't know how to get rid of them. How do I block them?

I sent an email to the ad server folks to see what’s up... hopefully, I can get this fixed by tomorrow morning... I also closed the accounts of the offended until this is fixed. Wouldn’t want to further offend them.

I really don't know, they just disappeared.
Maybe it's like Covid 19 which we have been fortunate to keep out of the State of Queensland.

Maybe the solution is to charge all us Barners a yearly stipend like $20 dollars.

You need to "Delete Cookies and Temporary Files" in you Internet Explorer settings. If you use Google Chrome, go to "Customize Settings (in the upper right hand corner)/More Tools/Clear Browsing Data..."

Stay on top of it. I get some, but not a lot of ads.

The ads stopped a day after they appeared on mine. I didn't do anything.
