I did not make mine, and it is kind of small, but it only cost me $10...it will do for now.

l built this one for my roadster a couple of years ago following plans published in either The Restorer or Model A News from around 1975. Since it’s my first one, it’s not perfect, but I love the extra storage space.

Sorry I don’t have a better close-up pic.

I made two wooden trunks for my A. The first one I made had a rounded top and was made from ask and oak with strips of walnut. The trunk gets more compliments than the car sometimes....,
The second I made is also wood but mainly pine because it is a lighter wood. I have the walnut decorative strips. I also added the metal corners and strap metal harware.
Both trunks have leather straps and locks.
Caution is to make sure that the trunk is bolted to the trunk carrier. Do not rely on the straps to hold the trunk to the car. The leather straps should be viewed as decoration only.
Send me a message and I can send you pictures. Really nice project and will set you A off nicely.

I built mine out of wood and coated with exterior polyurethane. It has held up great. Built one for my truck as well. Holds lots of tools and other stuff….

This is an old trunk that I restored. I don't know how old it is, but it was built using square nails and I don't know who made it or what it went on. I thought it would look good on the rear of my car.
