Defroster Nozzels - what year?
Hi all - trying to validate what year these defroster nozzles apply to ...
I believe the smaller ones in front are 1940 closed car? Anyone recognize both as to confirm if early Ford and year of application? Thanks |

I also believe the smaller ones are 40 hot water heater. They are embossed B-1728 which is most likely the Mfg. part number not Fords. There is also the Mfg Co. logo embossed which may be Sunday.

The larger ones are used on the 1941 to 1948 passenger cars for the hot water heaters. Different nozzles and ducting are used for the hot air heaters. The smaller straight nozzles are used on all 1940 passenger models for the hot water heaters, Different nozzles and ducting used with the hot air heaters. The curved smaller nozzle is used on the 1940 pickup truck right side to get around the glove box with hot water heater. A similar large style curved nozzle is used for the 1941 pickup truck right side hot water heater. No hot air heaters were available for the trucks. That should cover them for you......40larry |

While we are on this topic, how do the defroster hoses fit onto the nozzles? Do the hoses go over and hold on with a clamp? Or do you just press them over?
