Also a pull down curtain for the rear window.
Butler satin finish door and window hardware.
Ironically our ‘30 Deluxe Coupe built in August of that year, came out of the SFA plant without cowl lites. The harness was installed for the lites, never installed yet all the other deluxe items are onboard.
Another unique “A”.

The function of the rear curtain is to prevent the reflection of car headlights onto the windshield, so the rear window shade is in all cars.

It was my “understanding”….who knows….that one reason of slanting the windshield was helping eliminating the reflection of headlights from the rear. As well as adding style.
Again, who knows!
