Ratchet Seat Adjuster
I need a composite assembly diagram or photos showing the complete ratchet type seat adjuster.
My friend has a 1931 Slant Windshield Town Sedan with the ratchet type seat adjuster. Unfortunately, the mechanism is incomplete, and I have not been able to find a composite picture or diagram of the whole mechanism to determine what he needs to get the adjuster working.

Re: Ratchet Seat Adjuster
Check this out:
https://www.brattons.com/seat-adjust...-assembly.html There is also a big spring that pulls the seat forward, you push against it with your legs to move the seat back. Ratchet assembly mounts to floor with 4 flat head screws (if I recall correctly, they are 1/4"-20). You can mount it with only 2 screws in the front holes, going into the rear mounting points, if you want, and move the entire seat back about 4 inches for added legroom.

Re: Ratchet Seat Adjuster
This is what I have so far thanks to Jim's tip, but I need some photos of a ratchet seat adjuster in a Fordor. I will share whatever I get in a downloadable montage.

Re: Ratchet Seat Adjuster
I have attached some picts that I could find real quick. This is from a 68C so it mounts to wood not steel, but they are the same pieces. The big difference is the bracket that mounts to the sill I believe had countersunk holes for flat head wood screws.
