Default 28-48 U-Joint washer replacement

I asked this in another thread, thought I would bring it up again.

I ordered the current 7095 replacement washer. It is not as heavy duty as the original convex one. Does anyone have any issues with it? To me it's too thin and will flex if over tightened.

Might be easier to have the washer photo in the thread.

If possible, get hold of the correct washer. There was a thread on this a couple of weeks ago.
Start here and then ask the folks in the thread what's best route to follow and where to get washer.

i do not know if this helps but mcmaster carr has them and stacking a few of them, as suggested by them, might give them the correct thickness...
