In regard to the question of cost I have a customer that just had H&H build him an Ardun and while he wasn't specific he said the cost was in the range of 30,000?

Heres a video you will hear this ARDUN running to 200 MPH in a distance of 1-1/2 miles
turn up the volume. As to the cost a whole lot.

Ronnie thanks for the post. I put this one into the exclusive "flathead porn" category. (Accepting the valve conundrum being exposed.)

More sir?... More pics please?

Since I have one of Zora's GM toys (57 FI) I am glad he ended up over at GM. Nice poster Dick!
Wish I had deep pockets, I would love to have an Ardun in my avatar. I guess I could if I parted with a few cars but I don't want to do that. I drove a friend's car with one that had Webers on it and it would tach up like a well built sbc. Like Dick said, it can no longer be called a "flathead".

Wow, thanks for letting us go along for the ride.
A treat that can't be beat.

I'm surprised at $30K cost. Thought it would be higher.

Yeah, last time I considered buying the heads Orosaco made, the heads themselves and all hardware (rockers etc) were about 30k.

Ron, Nice ride! Thanks for that.
Are there any pictures or videos of the car from the outside?
Does he use a "chute" to help stopping?

Heres the ARDUN in the roadster everyone was able to ride along in. The Scottys Muffler service roadster is a pretty historic car which continues to set records. My son and I helped the owner Tom updated the car so is legal to run once again a parachute is used to stop after the run.

Dang. Hearing the Scotty's roadster in person was such a treat. I'm saving my pennies and dimes to one day have a full race, Ronnie Roadster-prepped Ardun motor in our '32 Tudor.
A boy can dream....

Ronnie thanks for posting. Great looking race machine! Interesting cooling system arrangement.
