Default Chrome Plating Experience

Had an old center bumper guard for my 39 Ford Coupe that I wanted plated. I thought it was in pretty good condition. I sent it to Graves Plating in Florence, AL. They gave me a price that I thought was out of this world ( meaning to high). I told them to do it anyway since I had already invested shipping to them and if I told them to return it I would have shipping in it again and still no plating. I got it back and I ripped it open ready to find fault with it. The wife says I can find fault with almost anything. It was PERFECT!! Great job and I am happy with the quality of work. I paid a lot but I also got a lot of quality workmanship. So many times today we pay a lot for things we want and the end results are not the best but my hat is off to this company.

Inquiring minds want to know:
How much you paid?
What's it look like.
Graves Plating has been around a long time and do great work. Good plating cost $$$.

Yes, they have had an excellent reputation for as long as I can remember. Word has it if you want it done in show chrome, and can afford it, they are the go-to guys in the Southeast.
I had an estimate on some garnish moldings once, but couldn't afford it. $600 for 4 moldings.
