Default 36 coupe lower cowl panel question

does any one out there know where i can purchase a lower replacement cowl panel? the one i bought was garbage. nothing matched up to the origional one. dont mind paying a little more if i can a good one. thanks.

I used the EMC panels on my 36. Took some massaging but they worked out OK.

Lodown also check out this cowl panel on ebay. I got a pair sent to Australia, haven't fitted them as yet but they look pretty good. Ideal if your rust is extensive, not just confined to the outer section.

They are all trash. They are made flat. They dont have the correct profile. You have to work on them. If you want to keep filler out of them you have to get the profile right before you weld them in.

Give Donnie Smart a call he is in North Carloina. He makes some of the best weld in panels. You may have to wait and they wont be cheap as the ones that are out there. If he makes them for you They will fit like a glove. 828 874 4609.
