Finally! Nice day for a drive in the '33 5W...
Thanks in part to all the help on here, I got the '33 running and stopping good. It was a beautiful day here today, time for a drive in the country and a good burger and onion rings. Thought I'd share the pics...

Fresh restored cars look great but there is nothing better than an old unrestored Flathead Ford. Great looking '33.

Your coupe rules! I will never get sick of a '33 5w profile. One of the absolute best, esp. with a perfect stance.

Thanks for the compliments. I can't take credit for much except freshening everything up to get it on the road again, after 50+ years. It was last registered in 1953. The oil change sticker in the driver's door jamb shows service in 1952 with 67,000 miles, odometer now reads 80,000. It's not original as new, instead has a '40 engine, '40 brakes, '36 trans, and '40 wheels with '41 caps. It drives like a good used car.
