Don't forget your chains (both tire and tow).

Tomorrow should be better I hope. Couple more months I guess. Then what no car shows or National meets.

I don't think I would. That snow looks dirty indicating the possible presence of road salt. I won't get near that stuff with the Merc but I'll go out on our clean white snow here in the country. Maybe this afternoon. Suns out and temp up in the 20s.

Before I had my license I used to drive around my ‘50 two door sedan in the backyard, had chains on the back tires, the thing was like a tank with those chains.

Took mine out to the gas station. The roads are dry and the sun is out. That will change day after tomorrow. It was fun ride, and she really needed to stretch her legs too.

Thanks for stretching the photo a little. I did get the Merc out for a few miles this afternoon but the sun disappeared behind the clouds so lighting was not ideal. Got some driving video that will hopefully show up on youtube later tonight.

Its actually the bigger M68. A 3/4 ton. Mercs were unique to Canada and they sold about as well as Fords did here. It was my uncle's truck for years and sat with a seized engine. I brought it home at least 5 years ago and have had the engine soaking in various concoctions in hopes of it freeing up. I'm thinking by now the heads and manifold will need to come off as it has not broke free yet.

I'd say 'no way'. Those roads have been salted.

Even if the roads are dry you are going to get salt dust kicked up on the car. It will find itself in tiny little spaces and start the rusting process.

We're into early February spring is only a few short weeks away.
