Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
New to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. Recently acquired a 1936 Ford Roadster, will be needing help from time to time to keep her in good shape and know there is lots of knowledge on this forum. Located in Parker, Colorado just outside Denver.
Happy Holidays, Mark (mgm60) |

Re: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
Being near Denver, you are close to the guys who raced out of a local dealer who's name is lost in my dusty old mind. Search Denver racers, they are old, but still active. Really nice 36, take good care of it.

Re: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
Thanks flathead48...the 36 spent some time in Upstate New York. Previous owner in the Fredonia area replaced the floor pans, interior, convertible top and repainted the car in its current color.

Ole Don I'll do my best to keep her in good shape and I'll check on the racing connection. I'm a member of the HiCountry Early Ford V8 club here and several long time members raced all over Colorado with a few who still do.

Re: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
Welcome Mark !! I was at Fort Carson for 6 months in 1967. Went around lots of Colorado exploring. Otherwise no other time in Colorado. Nice state though. At my time there it kinda sucked though.

Re: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
The HiCountry regional group has hosted some fantastic meets in the past and I made most of them, Too bad Covid spoiled the 2020 meet. You belong to a great group and nice roadster too.

Re: Oh What Fun It Is To Ride
Welcome to the Fordbarn. Lots of great and knowledgeable folks here who are always anxious to help other Flathead owners. I have contributed a little over the years but have learned far more than I have contributed. If the PO had spent another $5.00 he could have painted that "road-duster" red. Lawson
