Default Sparking Horn

I took the horn off the 31 PU today to see if it could be cleaned and lubed since it's not spinning up powerfully enough to Ahoogah. (Just AHHHH.) I took one of the brushes off (solid brass) and inspected it. When putting it back on, I noticed that the other side had an isolating washer separating the coil wire from the housing. I thought maybe I lost this from the side I took apart. Is there supposed to be an insulating washer on both brushes. I looked at Les Andrews book, but it only shows one side exploded. (p. 1-196)

BTW the horn spun up nicely when sitting on the fender, but sparked against the bracket when I tried to mount it back on the light bar. Maybe I brushed away the insulating washer from that one side. I don't know.

Yep, there should be a flat insulating washer on the inside of the frame to the brush holder and a cupped insulating washer under the screw head for the brush holder. 4 total insulating washers.

Thanks, Tom. Knew I could count on you. I can't find the one I must have knocked off, so I cut a piece of plastic for the inside one. The outer, cone shaped piece is still there.
