when i had my body shop i would cook thw joints with a torch . it would burn off any paint or chemicls

Hello! It's been a while, I've made a lot of progress on the 42. Here are some pictures of the steering column, it's been rebuilt and installed. Still have to get the ignition parts put in, just waiting to have keys made for the ignition cylinder.

The original sending unit was bad; I was able to purchase an original, repaired unit. We tested before installing. The new fuel tank opening was too small; we had to drill the opening wide enough to allow the float assembly to pass through.
