Great name, BETSY! Also the name of our OOOLD family squirrel gun, a single shot, bolt action, Remington Model 41 Targetmaster.
My Son, Gregg also, (RIP) said it was a primo target shooting gun. Gregg also did competition shooting with a .44 MAGNUM!

The first 5 I never named but this one was different. I needed a e-mail address and a name for my truck. So Henry Ford called them Henry's Lady, I call mine my Old Lady[not married any more to my wife so its my truck.

Bill, you have the same gun I use for rodents. It hits the mark, if you can find ammo. Nothing in our stores for over two years.

Was having a hard time trying to come up with a name. Thought about one of my favorite Mexican beers, Negro Modella. But just learned that the fellow that built it, and I bought it from, passed away. It's name is now "Ralph".

The only car in my history that had a name was a 36 Chevy 4 door that my brother and I bought while in high school in the 50's. Paid $35 for it and had to borrow money from the bank to pay it off. Tried to borrow the money on our own, but had to get our stepfather to sign for it. Classmates dubbed the car, The Crime Car, after the gangster movies that always had guys riding on running boards.

I named the '29 tudor Willie after my Dad. Together we worked on one when I was in junior high. Well, after I named Willie, I had to get a '31 Victoria for my Mom. They are together again in my garage.

I'm getting in on this a little late, but my coupe was called the Bumble Bee because when I bought it the paint was a GM yellow and Honda Black that made it look like a bee. It is now painted Chicle/Copra Drab, so no more Bumble Bee. Mostly just call it "the A" now.

Add "Fay" -- after my cousin/land-lady. She is also a 1930 model . . .

The names for my vehicles are more generic, i.e. "The A" or "Town Sedan" (Altho my wife refers to the Town Sedan as "Your Girl"). Then we have the "Grocery Getter" or "The 55", My wife's "FLEX" or my "Truck". Then lastly there's my grandson's Taurus "The Bull".

Our 30 Town Sedan is named Priscilla, after Priscilla Mullen, a little girl on the Mayflower who took quite an interest in John Alden, a cooper on the Mayflower. They later married and had 10 children. I am a descendent of John & Priscilla , so our old girl is Priscilla.

"Vernon" is the name of my mostly original 1930 Model A Ford Coupe DeLuxe named for the original owner.
"Rosie" is the name of my 1929 Model A Ford Tudor Sedan.

My 1929 cabriolet was called "Bessie" when my grandmother had it from 1930 to 1954. When I got it a few years after she died, my mother did not like the name because it was her name. So the car lost its original name and has remained nameless for all these 50 plus years. Once it is back on the road in a few months, if I get the urge to name her, it will be "Bessie," in memory of both my mom and grandmother. I have already given her a gender in my mind, something I have not done to a car before now. I have never given any of my cars people-type names, but this may be a first.
