yes they still have tours for Alcatraz, nut you need to go yo san francisco , around peir 39 or so

Thanks for all the tips, stories and feedback it gave me a lot of different things to look at before the journey and lots of ideas on things to take to be better prepared. I will keep track of the journey and post along the way.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but, Rumbleseat (Paul Garrigan) used to have numbered boxes ready to ship on his bench with heavier items like generators. If something got too much to repair on the road, he would have his wife send it to him.

about 200. bucks and one 200 mile tow and 4 100 mile tows.........
