![]() My avatar is boring but here is a photo of our machine-restoration shop where The Old Motor is published. Shown are three Mercer Raceabouts that were in for work and a 1910 Thomas Flyer. Below is a 1915 Locomobile. Our Ford woodie is hiding in another bay

This is my '40 that I bought in 1980 in Salem, Ma beside the witch house. It was Folkstone Gray with black fender and a home made flat bed.

My avatar is a 1953 Ford Flathead I salvaged.
Finding this engine helped get me back into the old car game. TM |

These '35's shown in my Avatar picture will probably look different every time you see them. I am always changing tires/wheels, add on accessories, etc. around to see what I like best

68Hillbilly, why don't you add that picture of your 40 as your actual Avatar. Go to the top of the page and click User CP. Then click on edit avatar. You can post a picture from your computer files or from a photo hosting website like Photobucket, Picture Trail, etc. You can always change it to some other picture later if you wish.

Mine is a photo, before we put it in the barn/pole shed 30+ years ago (picts on the right, picts on the left is sometime around the early 90s).
2013. Still a little crusty. |

Here is my'39 Standard. My Grandfather restored this car in 1976. Nothing done to it since, other than the usual upkeep & Maintenance. I was able to show it this past summer @ the AACA Grand National in Tennessee & at the Early V8 show in Hiawassee..
The first two pictures are of him with the car around 1977....not too long after the restoration.. The latter ones are of it this past summer.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

This is great, nice to see better details….great cars, engines….whatever. I’m working on three of my cars, hopping from one to the other…never a dull moment…..waiting for a part, switch projects. Robert

Lot of nice rides. Here a picture of my 35 Pickup. Hope someday to make a nice truck out of it. I have a Columbia for it. just can't find time to install it.
