That Lincoln isn’t a wagon, it’s a whole damn wagon train. Love it.

1956 Ford Ranch Wagon.
It appears that this Wagon is a revised model, as the original base Ranch Wagons never had side chrome trim?

Trevor, there were three trim levels in 1956 for the 2DR WAGONS -

59A - MAINLINE RANCH WAGON
59B - CUSTOMLINE RANCH WAGON
59C - FAIRLANE RANCH WAGON (PARKLANE)

You're showing the MAINLINE.

As mentioned in my Post #725, this base model Ford Mainline Station Wagon received added chrome trim on the rear quarters part way through the model year in an effort to try and make it look less plain.
I am aware that these Wagons were offered in three Trim Levels.
I have added illustrations of these three trim levels in Posts #728, #729 and #730 from the original Station Wagon Brochure.

Entry level 1956 Ford Mainline Sedan - Brochure dated 1-56.
Note extra side trim has been added on this base model Ford in an effort to spruce it up.
This same Trim was also added to the Mainline Ranch Wagon shown above.
