Nice looking trucks. There was a green color in 1940/41. Forest color. Anyone have the name? Also interested in the 4 cylinder question if anyone knows? KUBE???? I would love to find one with a 4 cylinder.

Are you thinking of Cloudmist Gray?

A lot of nice trucks. Personally, I like the ones with blackwalls the best.

Kube- hard to tell on the color. My truck in the door jams - mind you could be original or repaint - with no gloss over the years - looks "forest green" - my wife says "starbucks green" but flat and faded. HAHA

That's probably the Cloudmist Gray. I have had numerous '40 Fords that were sporting the original paint and it typically faded to what I describe as pea soup. Are we on the same track here?

4 Cylinder was available in 41 pickups.

I love the 40/41s and"jail bars" that some consider ugly. My first recollection of Jailbars was the local fire engine when I was a "sprog". All kids are impressionable and that fire appliance is indellibly etched in my memory.
