Hi Zombi, You have probably been to some flea markets in Fl. ? I would have to say we have a much better grade and quality of "rust" here in the northeast than those folks do even though most of the country side is clean now up here !

They were not put in the best place. Most of that area has a ton of leafs and you know how they are on cars.

Stil trying to get these from the people. She cant decide if she wants to sell them. I am trying to get the 39 coupe and 3 tudor sedans 1 40 and 2 37's. There were some more coupes but they got burnt in a grass fire and they hauled them to the scrap yard. I dont get people if the cars were so special why do they let them get this way?

No progress yet still working on them. Hope something soon I keep finding cars and I am trying to buy up what I can while I am young and my kids are young. A guy at church has 23 a's all coupes and pickups. And allso has a 40 ford coupe and 40 mercury coupe. He told me to come have a look. Trying to find a day to go look they are in a a town about a hour from me on his old home place. All in barns and all ran up untill the 70's when he stopped messing with them. One is a old hot rod he built in 57 when he was in high school. And a place in Oklahoma that is the mother load. I will hopefully be getting a 32 coupe out of this place. The old guy has hundreds cars in a field from a wrecking yard the family owned. All fords except 5 williys coupes. All I have seen is a few pics.

About what? All the cars? The cars in Oklahoma a friend is going to buy them for me from the guy. His grandfather was good friends with guy and told him that he would sell him a few cars but would not sell to me. I guess he being 90 years old he still thinks he is going to do somthing with them. He has one daughter that is around 70 and she lives up north. The guy from church I will check with him when I get to go look. I am going to try to get a coupe and a pickup, and all the bodies he has. And he said he had some motors for a's and some flatheads he said most were mercs that he got for building hot rods but never got around to it. One car is a old hot rod that he said has a 283 and a rearend out of a 39 merc and the trans is out of the 39 merc and the juice brakes. His family owns a small car museum in the town they are from. And I dont know what the family will all want.

Man oh man, this is the stuff that dreams are made of. 23 A's? Holy cow! I hope to find one I can afford in the next few years. Good luck to you in your hunt.

The guy said he and his dad use to drive around and buy all the coupes and pickups they saw. Those are the cars that are all together. He sais he had some bodies and parts from others they used for the complete cars. He said it would take me a day to go through every thing. My uncle told me he went and looked at them in the late 70's and said they were all in the barns where they still are.
