From what I understand, this is your 'card' for the car in the village. Your credentials I think need to be picked up on that Thursday and you can bring your car into the village after 5pm on Friday.

---- Now I could be completely wrong here ----

While that makes sense what you are saying, ...if you still must wait in line to get the credentials, what is the advantage of having the card early but not the credentials?

That I cannot answer. I am local to Greenfield Village so that is all that I know. I know when I have picked up my credentials, there hasn't really been a line. Just a tent that has all our packets.

Yes I agree, ..and mine pickup is generally even easier since we are signed up for the Lansing Run, so on Wednesday when we arrive, the Tour Chair have already picked-up our OCF packets and hand them to us at the Driver's Meeting.

This is my first time going to this event. So I had no idea that this was out of the norm.

I won't be there with my 31 Coupe this year, however the other group that I hang with "The Dearborn Early Engine Club" will have a display of vintage machines at the Firestone Farm including a Model T running on a "Henry's Helper" ... stop by and say hi ... "Joe sent me"

Thank you! I read a Floyd Clymer book about the Model T and it showed lots of ways to use the rear axle as a power take off, just never heard of Henry’s Helper.

One week to the Old Car Festival at the Henry Ford. I look forward to seeing the members of the 'Barn' there. I should be in my normal place, just up the road from the windmill by the flower/garden patch and the old covered bridge, where the road comes up to the back road. The 'T' intersection.

Just got back home from my first Old Car Festival at the Henry Ford. Absolutely blown away! Incredible event. The Youtube videos don't do it justice. I'll be back next year for sure! Thank you to all who brought your incredible cars.

Thought you were attending under your secret agent alias, Trent Berry.
