I will be attending the CNM, arriving on late Tuesday. The museum has arranged to have some copies of my truck book available for purchase and I'm happy to sign them.
Looking forward to talking about early Ford trucks with like-minded folks. Hope to see you there.

I'm hoping this will re-post the brochure, since some of us are probably still attending on the spur of the moment. Al Hook |

Just got back from a 10K RV trip from SJ to Auburn and back seeing all the flyover states we had never been to. Beautiful vehicles and a small swap meet in the wet, soggy grass. We were running from bad weather by the time we got there.

I have a parts request for anyone heading to the Central National in Auburn. If you have a spare 52-53-54 passenger car six cylinder oil bath air cleaner I have a friend who would love to buy it from you. Thanks to any who can help and see everyone in Auburn.

I’ll be driving my 33 Tudor leaving Shorewood Illinois on the 18th and returning on the 21st. I also have a 33 DeLuxe Fordor I would love for someone to drive along with me. Let me know if you’re going without a car and are interested in driving one of mine. Tim [email protected]

I got almost all the pre-trip maintenance done on the 53: oil changed, remainder of fluids checked, valve lash checked, different carburetor rebuilt & jeting verified ok, horns installed, brakes adjusted, replace idler arm, and fixed the 12V power port. The last two items are to organize the tools & spare parts, and replace the turn signal flasher. I think we will be rolling out with confidence next Saturday morning.

My friend and I are about to head north-northeast toward Auburn. I'm really looking forward to this.
Anyone who still thinks 37s are ugly ducklings after seeing this car needs to have their eyes checked! |

I got here yesterday. I have the swap meet marked off. Will be setting up my swap space today for business starting tomorrow morning. Ken 36 drove his beautiful '50 Ford Convertible to the meet. Will see a bunch more today! Going to be HOT this week!

Flying back from LA tomorrow morning at 8 am, getting back home in Virginia by 6 pm then jumping the the car at 4:30 am, driving 11 1/2 hours to Auburn via West Virginia to pickup a fellow enthusiast. Looking forward to being there on Tuesday evening. A convoluted trip, but I had to be in LA for my son's graduation from CalTech with his PhD. Hope to see some of you there.

Everyone knows everyone, I am new and know no one. I entered my 1938 Standard V-8 60 in the Rouge Class. If you spot my car, please come up and introduce yourself.
