Dave - Thanks for including your photo! - Is it just me or does the oval window in your car looks noticably smaller than the oval glass in another car just a few pictures down from yours in this thread?

If so, was the Doctor's Coupe different somehow from the Business Coupe?...

Could you possibly provide the glass(only) dimensions for the oval glass windows in your car? (longest and shortest dimensions of the oval - as best as you can measure it in the frame).

Is there any bevel to your glass and if so, how wide is the bevel showing?

Thanking you in advance, - Dan

Luke, I am with Steve, the business coupe has always been my favorite coupe and your pics are killers.

As for the "opera"(business) coupe above, check it well, you might find a hacked up sport coupe, lots of funny stuff going on with what is under that top. Check those windows well, have seen many era oval windows passed off as business coupe windows. And the originals weren't bright work.

Good recall of the post for Motorace. As a member of the Model A PC police, the '28-29 coupes were simply reffered toas "business coupes". The oval window designation probably came early on from restorers later trying to differentiate from the two. The term "doctor's coupe" was never used by Ford.
