Re: Synthetic oil for model a's
Intresting tidbit: Fellow mechanic, Bob, bought a NEW 122 Volvo & ran it for 180,000 miles on oil & filters saved from the first 500 mile service on NEW Volvos! Car was running PRIMO when he sold it. Must have been really good oil the factory used! Bill W.

Re: Synthetic oil for model a's
Just a personal observation. When I put synthetic oil in my Wincharger it leaks out all over the place, regular oil of the same weight does not. The synthetic oil seems to creep out through the seals.
I noticed the same thing on some of my other old engines. Just an observation, so if it leaks more out of your A than standard oil, it is not alone.
