Probably a movie. Notice the flatbed truck half hidden behind the police car. I can not see the ramp on the side of the truck bed but i know it is there. Marv

Back to the '37 Cabriolet from posts #36 and #39. Correct info about it being the Dutch Prince behind the wheel. I read that he'd hit a truck filled with 5-6 tons of sand. There was one passenger, neither injured seriously, but there was a mention of them bumping heads against the windshield, but not breaking the glass. I found a couple of more shots at this website, you'll have to translate the Dutch, I used Google Translate. http://hethistorischatelier.blogspot...ij-diemen.html

Also added a shot of another wreck.

Hi Everyone, Bringing up this old thread because I saw this on the NASCAR website today.

And the original page where there are lot of other wrecked race cars and trucks.

The insurance company totaled my avatar back in '64.
Fortunately, it was then bought and "reborn". Needed a new front axle, running board, hood, rear fender, grille, etc. Thank goodness local Poughkeepsie, NY junk yards still had some 40's back then.

Some of you folks might know of this web site and some might like to see why you can't find good old 32 to 34 coupes these days. Check out "catamountstadium" Lots people from NH tracks I remember racing back in the day.
