Have the shop rough bore the cylinders to .060" and see how they look. If they're OK, order your pistons and finish hone to size. If still pitted, go on up to .080".

Pitted cylinders are not a problem depending on where the pits are. Having bored a few engines I've seen may pits and using a pick find their just that a small imperfection in the casting, not a problem.
