Glad they were able to sell both. Never thought the station wagon would get there,
as have seen a few languish in better condition for less $ recently.

The delivery was a great deal!

Now, to collect the funds.... have found ebay to work out 50-60% of the time.

Great story I'm sure there are a few other instances like that. The fun of enjoying a hobby is the "hunt" but nowadays folks want $200.00 for every original NOS part. The Model "A" had nostalgia and classic mystique but was still affordable to the collector and parts were still available at local junk yards. Today, who wants to restore a car from the 70's or 80's that's a pile of rust ? You just can't have that kind of fun anymore without getting into big $$$$$$$ or going in debt to support the hobby.
It would be nice to see these rare classics in public or have articles written about them and not keep locked up in a dark dusty storage barn.

Sorry I will get off my soapbox now!! Still a great story and thanks for sharing the pics, we love "A"s!!!!

Does anyone know who the lucky new owner of the Special Delivery is? I've been keeping track of this body style and would like to contact the owner to get some details once he takes possession.
