Heres some pictures of the one I took off my truck (to much of a shin getter for me) I do have a box section cross piece that replaces the rear spreader that has a 2" reciever for my hitch.

Here's what I ended up with after researching the idea extensively. It's kinda hard to get the full scope of things with the PU parked in a somewhat congested garage. I opted for a full bumper (same as the front) and eventually will put a 1-1/4" receiver that is flush with the bumper. This is positioned so that the taligate will fold straight down. Brackets used to mount it were the same as for a coupe, extended 6".

Here's a better picture straight on. (Notice the 6-foot snow bank on the right!)

The sketch, shows how bumper brackets are modified to extend for pick up.

When I first changed over to Hagerty insurance years ago,I sent the pictures they asked for. Then they asked for one more, when they saw it was a truck they wanted a picture of the rear.It was no problem but when I asked why I was told it was to verify there was no trailer hitch. Now this was over 15 years ago,and I think I've had 7 underwriters through them since. It could be completely different now.

The answer to the original question is, "No." I think it's funny that it got 27 responses for a simple one-word answer.

Station Wagons didn't have them either, probably because of the added expense and the curtain box underneath.
