It happened again , a few days ago. And the problem is/was the gas station. Several complaints were against the station.

If the lower rim of the gas cap is close to the top of the gas tank when closed, during heavy rain, water will siphon through the cap into the tank.
We have had this happen more than once during heavy rain when the car is parked. |

No matter which fuel station we are talking about, NEVER buy from one when the delivery tanker is stirring up all of the muck in the bottom of the underground tank.

In years gone by I have read accounts of clubs on tour had water problems after running in rain the day before. If I remember correctly the '30 models were the worst.
