Red,
Great truck you have! Glad to be able to help on the steering component. What are the plans for the project? The brakes are the right thing to get operational. Tires, well dig deep in the wallet for those. I got all 7 for our truck, and was glad I did. Lucus, Coker, Miller, are the three I checked with. I like the Firestone style. 6.00-20 was what I ended up with. Hope your rims are all serviceable too.
Regards,
Chris

GB,

I used to work for a large sheet metal shop many years ago. I could probably find someone that has one, but that's a little beyond my wheel house.

Chris,

I just want to slow down and enjoy the truck. It doesn't go super fast, but it goes fast enough. I have "newer" tires that aren't cracked as bad, so I will probably switch those out. I'm pretty good on rims, I wish a had another dozen good ones so I wouldn't have to use these. I want to go through the brakes and steering and bring those to better operating condition. If I only a had a full machine shop, I would be all set. It's funny how money would make some problems much easier to solve, ohh well. I got the radiator shell and hood back on today. I took it to the gas station and then around the block.
