Congrats to Ron and ALL of YOU who have bettered your lives (and extended them) by putting down the things that were destroying them. It takes a lot of will power to quit a hard habit like smoking or any addiction issue (even food) - so great job by all of you.
Just think, my bet is that some of the BEST contributors on the Barn would NOT even be here if you hadn't quit these things - or never started in the first place! I was fortunate in that I had nobody in my social groups that smoked - pretty amazing as I grew up in the 60's and 70's. I'm sure that if my friends had smoked, I would have also. By the grace of God go I! |

Congrats Ron, Your wisdom will ALWAYS be with us barners. I had a good friend here in Washington like you that owned a junkyard down on the county line. I would spend hours just listening to his stories of how he found different ways to fix cars and trucks. He's gone now and I find myself doing the same with you.
