Maybe it is just your tires. Bias ply nylon tires used to do that, until you drove a few miles and got the tires warmed up to remove the flat spots, from where it sat. Marv

Dave i forgot to mention. Since you lowered your car, is it possible that your driveshaft is to long and bottoming out.

I went for a drive in this truck on Sunday afternoon. After we put shocks in it. It scared the shit out of me. I think you guys that suggested a total front end rebuild are on the money.

I set the pinion angle after it was lowered... plus speed doesn't seem to affect it, but as soon as I hit a bump, or the vehicle goes a little off-kilter then she quakes like a son of a bitch.
... but not for long. |

What type of front suspension do you have on it and how did you lower it? Bump steer is sounding more and more like it.

If you dropped the rear 8" and the front 3" your camber has changed and will give you the shakes.

Did you check the caster angle when you changed the ride heigth ??--by lowering the front more than the rear you could have changed the caster angle to a much lower amount ---less caster will make the wheels more prone to shimmey.
