I put on Universals from Coker a few years ago. The price was right and they've been very good tires. I got tubes from Mac's and they've been good too. That's been about 6 years ago, at that time I paid less than $90 each for them.

How fast are you driving? The Lucas tires I had several years ago seemed to wander above 50. I sold them and went back to Michelins, and the car handled better again. When these are gone, I going radial.

I absolutely hate my Universals. 21". They slide at the drop of a hat and I don't dare drive in the rain. I have about 10k miles on them and cannot wait to replace them. I drive it almost every day (no rain) and will be going to a 32 wheel with radials next.
